Account Closure Policy

Draft: not yet in effect

Asking to close your account

You can ask to close your account at any time, in writing, through your account manager. We don't offer one-click closure, so that nothing is lost by accident and open obligations are settled first.

What happens next

  1. Subscriptions are cancelled at the end of the current billing period. Service continues until then; nothing more is charged.
  2. Ad accounts are archived at the end of that period. Archived accounts can't be reactivated.
  3. Wallet balance that's left over can be refunded under the Refund Policy. Claim it within 90 days of closure; after that it's treated as forfeited, to the extent the law allows.
  4. Amounts you owe (unpaid fees or charges) must be settled before closure is final.
  5. Operations in progress (top-ups, funding, campaign launches) are completed first.
  6. Running campaigns are paused. Spend already in progress may not be recoverable.

Your data after closure

We keep your account data for 5 years after closure for legal, tax and anti-money-laundering reasons, then delete or anonymise it. During that time:

  • you can ask for one export of your data, subject to verification;
  • we don't use it for marketing and don't sell it;
  • we disclose it only when the law or a court requires, or to investigate fraud.

See the Privacy Policy for your other rights.

Opening a new account later

You can apply again at any time; the usual review applies and we may decline. Applying under a different identity to get around a previous closure or restriction is fraud and we may report it.

Disputes

Disputes about closure are handled under the Terms. We may delay closure while an investigation, chargeback or legal matter is open.
